Miley Cyrus and 'Hunger Games' Star Liam Hemsworth Now Officially Engaged (See The Ring!)

It was only a couple of months ago when rumors started flying about Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth and their supposed engagement. Cyrus quashed the rumors, saying that people "just wanna find something to tal [sic] about," but what do you expect to happen when you tweet a picture of your left hand with a huge ring on it?

Well, now the engagement is for real. Sorry, all you "Hunger Games" fans out there on Team Gale. And sorry to you, all you... Miley Cyrus fans? Do those exist? Does anyone have a crush on Miley Cyrus anymore? Besides Liam, I mean.

Anyway, Cyrus announced the news to People, saying, "I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam." The couple met in 2009 when they co-starred in "The Last Song."

The 3.5-carat diamond ring that Liam picked out for Miley is an impressive piece of jewelry: it was designed by jeweler Neil Lane and features a large center stone that reportedly dates back to the 1800's, as well as many other smaller diamonds set into the 18-karat gold, intricately detailed band.
